and interviews featuring country music’s hottest stars and their
pets. With an introduction by famous animal expert Jack Hanna, this book
will appeal to country music fans who are interested in a peek at the
personal side of their favorite artists, as well as animal lovers everywhere!
Dancehall Doctor Jeff McMahon is only one of the many country stars included
in the project. Some of the other artists included are: Vince Gill, Jo
Dee Messina, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack, Wynonna, Tanya Tucker, Clint
Black and Lisa Hartman Black, Billy Ray Cyrus, Chely Wright, Brad Paisley,
Charlie Daniels, Barbara Mandrell, Dierks Bentley, Terri Clark, George
Jones, Eddie Montgomery of the duo Montgomery Gentry, Neal McCoy, Blake
Shelton, Jay Demarcus of Rascal Flatts, and the late Tammy Wynette.
The original goal of this project was to raise enough money to improve
an animal shelter in Nashville. A new shelter has been built, and now
the authors will donate part of their proceeds to animal rights and rescue
organizations in Nashville.
