The Shamrock 5K/St. Patrick's Day Parade
On March 12, 2005, McMahon traveled to Milwaukee
to participate in the First Annual Shamrock Sprint 5K with three of his
bandmates from Tim McGraw's band, the Dancehall Doctors: Denny Hemingson,
Dean Brown, and Billy Mason. Together the foursome took to the streets
in sixteen-degree weather to support the Tug McGraw Foundation. Donations
made to sponsor their participation in the run raised over $45,000 for
quality of life research for brain cancer.
Take a moment and relive the event as friends and fans, elfin and otherwise, line the sidewalks to cheer the runners. Wave as wizards lead bands of bagpipers through the streets during the parade. And sit back and relax to the sounds of "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" while sharing a few laughs with the locals in true Irish fashion.
